Description

The Omega Speedmaster Professional X-33 Calibre 1666 was designed in collaboration with astronauts and other aviators to ensure it would meet their requirements. The large watch has a metal wrist strap and a digital and analogue time display.This model has features such as being able to set mission elapsed time and a loud alarm that can be heard over the noise of an engine. Nicknamed the ‘Mars Watch’ – it is NASA qualified for use on the Space Shuttle.

Omega have been NASA’s choice of watch, due to its reliability in all atmospheric conditions and for its manual winding movement that functions in weightlessness. Omega watches were the first watches worn on the Moon.
