Hardback copy of ‘George’s Secret Key to the Universe’ by Professor Stephen Hawking, his daughter Lucy Hawking, and Christophe Galfard. The title page has the inscription: ‘To the National Space Centre, with cosmic wishes.’ It has been signed by Lucy Hawking and it has the right thumb print of Stephen hawking, dated 12/12/2008.
The book aims to explain theoretical physics in a way that is accessible to young readers aged ten and up. It is written as a story, but it also has factual sections and images throughout. It is followed by five sequels, ‘George's Cosmic Treasure Hunt’, ‘George and the Big Bang’, ‘George and the Unbreakable Code’, ‘George and the Blue Moon’, and ‘George and the Ship.’
